Now available – MIV Application in Standalone Mode

With the latest release of v2.2.1 software and MV020700 firmware, the MIV Application has enhanced the ‘Standalone Mode’ which permits users to perform Meter Verification Tests directly from the PQPro™ front panel. All collected data is saved on a removable memory card then opened by the MIV software to generate a PDF report.

PowerPro for the London Underground

CANDURA instruments has developed a version of our popular PowerPro to satisfy the wide-ranging requirements of the London Underground. Since 1863 trains have been carrying passengers around London. In 1890 the London Underground introduced electric locomotives. Over the years different electrical services have been added to the system. Today there are four separate electrical supplies in use:

  • 415VAC, 3Phase, 50Hz
  • 600VAC, 1Phase, 33.3Hz
  • 600VAC, 1Phase, 125Hz
  • 650VDC

In 2004 the London Underground maintenance department was looking for one instrument that could be used on all services. After reviewing power quality instruments from multiple manufacturers, the PowerPro from CANDURA instruments was selected for this job. Now, 10 years later, they have selected the PQPro™ from CANDURA instruments.
